DiMaggio was an athlete who was famous for his 56-game hitting
streak. He played for the Yankees for 13 years. Through his career, he won a
poll as the sport’s greatest living player in 1969. DiMaggio’s brothers were
working as major league center fielders. Unfortunately, it was impossible for
right-handed hitters to get a home run at the Yankee stadium. However, DiMaggio
married the famous star Marilyn Monroe but after 274 days of the wedding they divorced
after a yelling battle with a mental cruelty ground. Richard Ben Cramer was the
biographer of DiMaggio.
